The Washington Parish Adult
Education program helps adults in the Washington
Parish area enhance their life-coping skills and
improve their lives through basic education, job
training, high school completion, and enrichment
classes. We help our students become more effective
lifelong learners, family members, workers, and
citizens.
- We offer Adult Basic Education classes in
Franklinton, Bogalusa and Angie.
- We schedule high school credit courses in
Washington Parish.
- We are a G.E.D. testing center - over 130
people passed the G.E.D. here in the 2006-07
school year.
- We provide English for Speakers of Other
Languages.
- We offer both day and evening classes in
Franklinton and Bogalusa.
- We offer evening classes only in Angie.
- We provide life skills classes for clients
of Behavioral Health & Development Services of
Washington Parish.
- We offer a vocational skills class for teens
who have dropped out of school.
- We provide a vocational class for people on
public assistance.
- We offer GED classes online to those who
meet certain criteria.
- We offer graduation exercises to those who
participate and receive instruction through our
adult education center.

educational programs that the Washington Parish School
